2024 Christmas Display “The World Celebrates Christmas”:
Due to Deacon Dave and his Team being one of the winners of “America’s Great Light Fight” we had record crowds. This brought out a media blitz with all the ABC, CBS, KRON, News Channels visiting the display and interviewing the Deacon and Team Members. Other reporters from TV India, TV Mexico, American China TV, People Magazine, SF Chronical, New York Times, Catholic TV EWTN, Our Sunday Visitor News, Catholic US Register, Independent, Good Moring America TV, Catholic Voice News Paper, Sacramento Bee.

America’s Great Light Fight:
For many years ABC America’s Great Light Fight has encouraged Deacon Dave to enter
The competition. Deacon did not want the display to be competitive but rather as a model as how others might decorate. Finally, the Deacon decided to enter the contest. The process was exciting and a lot of fun. Deacon Dave would encourage homeowners to enter their display in the “Great American Light Fight.”
The Famous Proposal Bridge:
This year 4 proposals took place on the famous bridge, bringing to total over the years to 86.
Deacon Dave and his Christmas Team congratulate the couples. The couples received a blessing from the Deacon.
Record number of Christmas Lights:
Over 902,000 lights brightened the night sky this year.
2025 Christmas Display Opening Date:
Deacon Dave’s 2025, 42nd Christmas Display will open on Saturday November 29th at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to the opening procession down Hillcrest Ave. and the opening ceremonies.

Deacon Dave wishes to thank the volunteers that wear the “Red Dove Cap and or Red House of the Dove Jacket.” The volunteers put in many hours in not only building the display but providing staffing each knight the display is open. 2025 Christmas Display Theme Announced:
Deacon Dave announced the top secret 2025 Christmas Display Theme at the “After Volunteer Party,” on January 20th. The volunteers were sworn to secrecy.
