GRAND OPENING OF THE 2026 CHRISTMAS DISPLAY:
Deacon Dave has announced the 43rd annual opening date of the Christmas Display –
Saturday November 28th at 6:30 p.m. It all begins with the Annual Procession down Hillcrest Avenue from Fordham Way. Visitors gather in front of Deacon Dave’s home.
The property is completely dark. The Lights will be turned on during the Opening Ceremony.
DISPLAY HOURS:
Friday and Saturday – 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday – Thursday – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The week after Christmas until New Year’s night the Display will close at 9 p.m.
PUBLIC RESTROOMS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.
NOTE: DISPLAY IS SUBJECT TO CLOSURE IF HEAVY RAIN OR HIGH WINDS OCCUR.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. The Display is on the private property of the Deacon.
This is a nonsmoking facility & display.

FAMOUS PROPOSAL BRIDGE:
Christmas Display 2025 brought the total marriage proposals count over the years to 91.
RUMORS, RUMORS, RUMORS:
Every year people question, “I heard that this is the last year of the Display?”
Another rumor, “I heard that Deacon Dave died.” Not true! The Deacon is alive and well. He is very active on naming the Theme, planning with his team and administering the display. On occasion he does use the Papal Veto.
DEDICATED TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS:
The Deacon is very proud of his team of volunteers. They have the same Spirit of Christmas as the Deacon. They put in an incredible number of hours to put together the display for the many visitors of the Tri-Valley and beyond.
LIGHT COUNT:
We attempted to reach 1 MILLION LIGHTS last year. We fell short of that number. So, again the team will attempt to reach 1 million lights. I guess we will just have to wait for the outcome.
PREPARATION:
Believe it or not, we have been putting in underground pipes for Security Cameras for the display and entire property. The new system has taken most of the summer to be installed. If you do not want to be on camera, then it is best not to enter the display.
In addition, the team has been working offsite building walls, painting, and repairing lights, planning props and more.
